Hey Shiv, just curious. How will these OTS flex tunes work with stock header. I ask because I currently run a stage 1 93 tune when I have to, but usually am on the stage 2 EL e85 tune as I love e85 but still have the factory header. I'm not looking to buy a cat less header cause I'm going turbo as soon as I get the money.

Would the required mods allow it to pass CA smog inspection? Or, do you have to revert everything back to stock?

Can someone answer this for me?

I currently have the OFT on my car. If I was to go with FI with a SC, can I still use the OFT to tune my car?

Also, will the flex fuel work with FI? I'm really clueless on how this all works so any information would help greatly.

Does the FlexFuel tunes provide anymore gains?

Yes you can still use your oft to flash tunes to your car if you go FI.

However oft guys only support a limited number of FI kits like Vortech SC and SBD turbo.

They do now support Flex fuel on Manual cars.

flex fuel wont give you more power than a dedicated E85 tune, but give you better safety and flexibility to change fuels.

Nobody has an idea whether using the evap pressure sensor signal wire for the flex fuel sensor can pass CA smog test? What if the CEL code(s) related to the evap system were disabled in the rom?

Good question, I'll be going down this road shortly and would like to know as well.

I will be testing a FlexFuel 6AT ROM this weekend on a spare ECU that I bought from Ebay last week. Fingers crossed!

The flex fuel ROM has no evap code in it. So you will not achieve any kind of evap readiness with it flashed to your ECU. For that, you would need to flash back to a non-Flexfuel tune and reconnect the Evap signal wire to the ECU.

They should work just fine on the stock header. We will basically blend your Stg 1 tune with your Stg 2 EL E85 tune when we create your Flexfuel tune.

I need dyno tuned AVCS, Fuel (with wideband logs) and ign maps for ACE 250, 350 & 400, but i'd settle for the 250.

Sounds easy enough. Will the kit provide the wire and connector in place of the stock evap wire?
