wait a second, whats to stop them from drifting the car in the parking garage and smashing it into a cement pole..

oh good god, i'll never give this car to a valet.
Depends who you are. I personally don't care. Valet drivers are usually good and they drive many higher price/nicer cars

Its electronics that set it off, my charger chord sets it off but 3 pizzas wont

I don't own one yet, but my nit-picks about the BRZ Limited:

-Painted silver plastic trim looks like painted silver plastic. I.E. really cheap
-Center console with cupholders look tacky; needs an armrest if for nothing more than to cover this area
-Parts-bin seat heater switches are ugly. I've seen much nicer buttons in Toyota and Subaru's parts bins.
-No leather trim on the speaker covers on the doors or the center console surround like in the JDM cars
-Clutch is light as a feather
-Parts bin key fob from a Prius/Highlander/Avalon. Good thing it never has to leave my pocket!
-Subaru and BRZ badges are unimaginitive. I'll de-badge mine.
-Exhaust tips look silly and disproportionate. Almost have to buy aftermarket exhaust immediately!
-Floor mats have a white lining while the rest of the interior has red stitching. Makes no sense!
-Clock is a different color than the rest of the instrumentation; more amber than red.
-No rake adjustment in the driver's seat
-I wish the HVAC switches went up and down instead of just down
-Toyota pattern underneath sun visors (martian invaders?)

This is exactly the issue. Once you own one, everything besides the pleasure of driving seems to fade away.

Unless it affects my daily routine in the car I don't notice it. Usually don't hate anything to a great extent on any car I OWN, obviously why I purchased it as opposed to something else in the first place.:happy0180:

Some dislikes:
- The cupholders are a bit hard to reach while moving, especially given how sensitive the steering is.
- The open center console... no close place to hide junk.
- I miss how my 1995 Prelude would lock the doors upon starting the engine (it started out annoying me but I got used to it).
- No seat memory.
- The hot air blowing out of the vents when it has no business being hot.
- The clutch point (to high? too hard to find? something...) *

* I should note that this is in comparison to my favorite manual transmission, my old Nissan 240sx. I do like the FR-S clutch better than my 1995 Prelude. I also don't mind the feel of the clutch. It starting out feeling waaaaay too light, but I got used to it pretty quickly.

The driver side visibility started out as a problem, but I feel like I've gotten used to it and I feel pretty confident now.

Still... a very good car
This seems to be a common problem... Does anyone NOT have this problem with their FR-S/BRZ?

I have this problem as well, I just toggle recirculation on/off and it seems to fix the issue.

Just in case anyone was having this problem in the BRZ i found the setting which is labeled ASL.

Is it pretty good about turning the volume up at speed? Seems like I have to crank the volume whenever I get on the highway.

I'm thinking that lowering it might solve my issues, but won't know until I try it
