Viper makes good stuff, I personally sell compustar since they have the same features and function just as well as viper, but their tech support is much easier to deal with which is important for me.
So you sell Compustar as a shop or as a distributor?

2) Installed it myself

Check out compustar - they have a lot of nice features including Drone Mobile to allow you to control/monitor your car from your cellphone. You really can't beat the features that they have to offer.
Thanks! I'm looking up their website right now.

He was asking where I got it installed and I answered his question. Kind of stupid to not read his questions, don't you think?

Also, on eBay or Amazon it is super cheap. You don't have to get all the accessories like I did such as push to start and stuff. It would be much cheaper if you didn't.

I do realize some people are replying to new threads on the front page, and not going to subsections to view posts... however, the OP is asking this in the Southern California regional forum.

That is all I am saying. An installer in Memphis, no matter how good, won't do a guy in SoCal any favors if installers in SoCal do not take the same precautions.

As a shop. We sold directed products (viper) for years but having to sit on hold for tech support for 1-2hrs each time was ridiculous. Compustar tech answers in less than 10 mins every time I can and are very knowledgeable. Plus their product has some awesome features as both an installer and as a consumer.

I'm going w/ a viper w/ responder & pager. Haven't got one yet but I'll probably do it myself like I do everything else. I did my trackers (yes I have 3 in there ) and kill switch myself too, and I can't imagine it being too involved. If I do run into trouble, I'll probably go to Corona AutoSpot. Same place I got my tint. Been working with them for a while and their work is good.

That's awesome. Unfortunately I'm horrible with technical issues. That's why I stick to driving. Lol. Good to know about Corona AutoSpot though. Thanks!

They did a great job, for me. A couple of high dollar cars there when I was there, too; GT-R and McLaren.
