Any plans to put on sticker tires? My build will probably be around 450whp and I bought 285mm Nitto 555R drag radials. Probably overkill for my power level lol.

oh definitely, I am going to be looking for new wheels soon. I am building a house right now, so maybe sometime beginning next year I will look for new rims and tires.

So, I am contemplating going wide body for wider tires both front and back. What is everyone's thoughts on this? It's a big step and once I commit there is no turning back lol. I really want to go up to like 295's in the back, but I have a lot more research I need to do. I feel like the wheels are going to cost me a fortune, but for me to get the car where I really want it I see myself spending another $20k or so. Still debating and would like to hear what everyone's thoughts are on this.

I had my rear fenders rolled and flared slightly to accommodate 285/35/18 drag radials. I also tried to get the negative camber as small as possible to put more tire on the ground (currently at -0.5 in rear). Even with the rolled/flared fenders I still rub at the height I was at before. I raised the car slightly in the rear to compensate, but I might go -1.0 camber and put it back at the lower height.

Anything over 265/30/18 probably requires rear fender work unless at stock height. I doubt 295s would fit without custom fenders, especially when lowered. I'm guessing with 600whp you can probably spin 295s fairly easily anyways lol.

I can't really speak to the front fenders as I am only running a 245 width tire in the front.

You can fit 295s with a roll and pull of the fenders with the right offset. I went widebody so I can eventually fit 315s, and I regret it. Wish I would have just went 285 or 295 super sticky tire but stayed stock body.

295s might be possible with enough negative camber and the appropriate fender work. However, I think the compound will be more important than the width with that level of power.

Also, forgot to add: I am running 285/35/18 which is not optimal. If you can find a tire with 285/30/18 it will fit easier. I was set on the Nitto 555R as a street-friendly drag radial (while maintaining the same 18" wheels) so I stepped up to the 35 series tire.

What do you regret about going widebody?

Good info, something to definitely consider. Yeah I am not sure which tire I want to go with yet.

Just got a ton of interior goodies, switching all of the silver pieces to the black ones. Also got the knee pads with the red stitching. Don't have many updates aside from that yet, until after I close on our new house I'm holding off buying new parts. I am hoping to shoot for new wheels, tires and brake kits beginning next year. Need to re valve the shocks, and then I should be able to hit up some events. I will throw up some pictures once I get the interior parts installed this weekend.

Holy fuel system batman.

So you have a 450 feeding a surge tank of 2, or 3 more 450s?

That's about 2000 hp worth of fuel system isn't it ?
