Pasadena area - extra pair of hands for beer and pizza?

Hey guys,
I just installed a new clutch and now can’t for the life of me get the trans to mate back up with the motor. Anybody in the Pasadena area willing to come out and lend a hand. Especially if you’ve pulled and re-mounted the trans before ....... successfully! Unlike me......

1. Did you use a pilot tool to center the disc?

2. Is the engine supported at the front?

1. Yes, exedy supplies the plastic alignment tool. Used it to the best of my ability.
2. Yes, tried multiple degrees of jacking the engine to best align it with the engine.

This is the third time I pulled everything back out. Re-aligned the clutch plate, put it in neutral or 5th. Tried loosening the motor mounts for more flex. Tried tightening the motor mounts for less flex.
Any other tricks welcome as well.
Spent 6 hours taking my time to pull the trans and install the clutch, now it’s been 2 more days just trying to get the trans on. I’m spent.

Man, that sucks. Keep taking your time.

I chewed up some of the outer cover on the engine harness before I discovered that it had flopped in between the block and the bell housing. Just something to look for.

Try test fitting the disk to the input shaft.

I can't think of anything else.

I have done this myself before, and it is tricky to get lined up. But once you do I found that putting the driveshaft into the rear of the transmission and then rotating the driveshaft will help to line up the splines on the input shaft of the transmission. It may take 2 people in order to do this, but I found this to be the best method. You may need to put the transmission into gear in order to rotate the input shaft. I was banging my head trying to get the transmission in, then my dad came over, got under the car and inserted the driveshaft and rotated it, and it slipped right on in. Made me feel like a newb, but that's what Dad's are for right?

I will be driving out that way Saturday morning, if you still don't have it in I can stop by and lend a hand.

Thanks guys! Yep, @slacker221 my neighbor heard me cursing in the garage and came over. Sticking the drive shaft in was his idea too! He turned and wiggles the driveshaft while my wife pushed on the top of the motor to rock it towards the back, while I pushed the trans in. That was incredibly complicated for such a simple task of pushing two things together..........
Thanks for the help everyone!
