Just so everyone knows, we sent out two kits last month. Waiting on those installs to be completed on the new v3 system before more kits go out.

OTS 3.0 Tune

I saw that Shiv is starting to test out 3.0 tunes for NA. Do you guys think we will get a new tune? Not sure what the improvements are but I like updates.

If there are any improvements it would probably already be present on the Flex Tune. Last I heard there was little improvements to be made on the OTS phantom tunes.

How long are your starter batteries lasting you guys?

My first one lasted about 11 months, and my second lasted about 7. Just installed my 3rd last night. I've been using the PC680

First one for me was the Powersonic PSH-12180. This lasted about 18 months till it started to have a hard time cranking. Before it died, I moved on to a Odyssey PC680 which still cranks hard after 2 years. No metal jacket and no bulging or anything weird.

Note, I am in Southern California so there aren't very many cold start days.

I am using the regular Odyssey PC680 (no jacket).

Also live in SoCal, Newport area to be precise. Car and everything was fine last Friday.. Didn't drive at all during the weekend when the cold front came in. Checked my car Sunday night and the battery was completely dead (no lights, and unable to key "on"). I tried using my portable jump starter and that didn't work, instructions said the battery had to be atleast 50% apparently in order to jump

Most likely the heat did it in. I've been running my PC -680 with the metal jacket for two years now. I find they are sensitive to heat and the metal jacket helps a lot.

mines still going strong after 2 years, but one of my big cranks looks to be a goner
