In the video there is a mention of software changes relating to the pedal switch. Are these changes in the controller or is there function in the switch it self. I ask because I would like to know if it is still controllable in the same manner by the proceed

Its in the software of the controller. But that can be emulated with the procede. Id recommend one of my procede maps as it does something similar.

Im waiting on Rob's go ahead to announce the pricing and whatnot.

As far as purchasing to replace your existing kit, i think for most it will not be worth it. That being said you could definitely put yourself in line and when it came to your time, look at purchasing again. We all know the used market for these kits is very hot so a sale of the older kit should be very quick.

The 4KW kit is very similar power to what everyone has today with the 1.5 conversion or the ETX big crank batteries. The packaging and cooling has been improved which is a huge plus for some. If you are like me i have never once hit thermal but i live in Canada and only get really hot temps for a day or two at a time in the summer.

The 5KW would be a noticeably jump in performance. It isn't directly a 20% increase in boost due to the conversion back to mechanical but should be close in ideal conditions. With the 5KW you NEED the aux charger, it is 100% required. The 5KW really shines above 5000RPM, the bottom end will be similar.

Right now i am running the 4KW and it feels really great.

Looks like that extra psi up top will be good for an extra 10-20whp.

Hmm, the new kit looks great - super tempting. If the new linear actuator pedal switch is 80% of the Procede's controls like Soj said it'll be great, as that whole setup cost me a pretty penny and I felt like it was kind of a hack job having to tie into the ECU and all that. Going back to a simpler install is always nice.

I still haven't had time to troubleshoot the current issues I've been having with my older kit so I've just had it off for now.

Going to try wiring up the old school pedal switch instead of the Procede to see if that's what's causing the problems with the voltage reader and lack of boost activation. Also going to check if the new batteries are keeping their charge just to rule them out.

If it ends up being a controller issue and not a procede issue, I may just save up for the 4 / 5 KW motor and new control system, or a JRSC / Edlebrock SC, whichever comes into the timeline / budget first. Any way to get back onto the order list? Any priority for current owners looking to upgrade?

Here's hoping at the very least I'll have the pedal switch back up and running.

Since you have the system off right now, have you considered sending the controller back to Rob?

This needs to go on the Church Auto Dyno w/ CA91 and e85. Then we'd have direct comparisons with a 1.0 on CA91, a 2.0 on CA91 and e85 and a 5k on CA91 and hopefully e85 all at sea level and on the same dyno. I'll buy and schedule the sesh and lunch if you can drive up some weekend over the next few months.

Would love to see that! Make it happen We were not able to hit the dyno here this year. My last runs were in October of last year where we did 225 on the TQ300 on 91. I think the new 5K kit will be in the 220's for sure based on what i feel with the 4K.
