Whiteout Vs Halo

Has anyone seen these two color side by side? If they discontinue whiteout, how hard is it to find this color down the road?

Probably not hard. FR-S/BRZ owners seem to willing to trade for the latest shiny thing. I think it's great that Whiteout is already gone. Best color, by far.

What exactly is the difference between Whiteout and Halo?

Same with Silver Ignition/Argento and Steel?

I like the whiteout but in all honesty I prefer a much more cooler shade of white what I mean is more hint of a blue hue contrast. In the sunlight the satin pearl comes off as creamy and I like the color white on this car but I wished their was a less creamy white color option if halo is a more super white or arctic white I may trade but only after i take off every mod i did haha

This guys WO may be available. Living is good if you can justify trading a car just for the color.

I prefer SWP/Whiteout over CWP/Halo. The off white look of SWP is much easier to deal with than a purer white like CWP. I've had 2 pure white cars and they got messy incredibly quickly. With SWP/Whiteout you don't need to wash it as often to keep it looking fresh since the extra color in it hides the dirt better.

I do like how the FR-S/BRZ comes in ISM now instead of that crappy silver they used before. ISM looks like an ice blue in certain light which is really nice.

Isn't halo just a non-pearl white?

Silver Ignition has a blueish/goldish/cement/basic silver hue to it. It will "flop" depending on the lighting.

Argento is straight up silver. Nothing fancy.

Steel appears to be a darker version of Argento but not as dark as the dark grey.

Only thing I can say is if you get SWP/Whiteout, it's very annoying to match it

Since the 2014 WRX in Crystal White Pearl is basically Halo, I took some pictures on my phone (a 5s) but I don't know if you guys will be able to tell the difference. In a physical perspective, Satin White Pearl (Whiteout) pigments reflects more green & red light, and Crystal White Pearl pigments reflect more blue & red light. However, this is more noticeable from further away and it's dependent on the angle of view. The best way to tell the difference is to look at how the white differentiates as you look toward the rear door to the front fender.

Crystal White Pearl (Top)
Satin White Pearl (bottom)

I wouldn't mind if they discontinue Whiteout...it would only make my Whiteout Monogram more limited...

I am far from living good I've been eating ramen only since 2012 and I dont go hang out with any of my friends for a whole year just to save up for this car and I rode a bicycle to the dealership to buy it so wish I was wealthy though.

But I always liked white cars I just chose whiteout cuz it was the nicest color option for the frs but if halo looks more like a typical pure white then why not? half of the reason we buy these cars are for the looks/color and for the out of box performance for the money
