It was the summer of 1960 and me and my 2 buddies took a driving trip to California (from Ohio). While we were in San Diego we visited my older cousin. He and his buddy took us to Tijuana to show us teenagers, straight off the farm, "the sights". BTW, this was before they cleaned up Tijuana.

After hitting several cantinas, we were led down this alley to a dark, smelly motel room. As we stood around a bed, with a heavily stained red bedspread, this fellow comes in and fires up a projector, projecting a poor quality, B&W porn film on the wall. Shortly after that, these three señoritas entered the room and paired off with us poor farm boys.

Just as they were running their hands down into our pants, my cousin said "that's enough". He slipped the girls and the projectionist a few dollars and herded us out, back to his car and back across the border.

Yes. Vets are a vital service and allowed to be open, thank God.

And our vet is less than 2 miles down the street.

Yep, one of the times.

At least that was the word that the mayor put out to the tourists -

(at least there wasn't that much raw sewage running down the open gutters)

Yea. I go in the backyard and watch the critters.

I don't know about the dive bar. I haven't been in almost 2 weeks. If they werent, they will be now. No dine-in of any type.
