Im no longer able to root for Haas. Winnings for 2016 are not paid out until the 1st race of 2017 or there a bouts. Teams can petition for a partial pay out early is all other teams agree to let them. Force india did this, petitioned for early partial pay out, Haas was the only team that voted NO. About as chicken shit as you can get from mr big shot multi mega bucks!

He did it to get back at Force India for talking crap about their collab with Ferrari, even claiming they shouldnt be allowed to enter F1 as a stand alone constructor. But it also was leverage to get the FIA to pay Haas back their $20mil entry a year early (normally not paid back until after the 2nd year). They took back their veto allowing Force India to get their money about two weeks after first blocking the payment once the FIA agreed.

I didn't know they took their veto back. There's just so much politics in F-1 anymore, and so much big money, and shitty looking and sounding cars. F-1 is just not the same as the Old F-1. But then nothing in life is the same.
