what kind of business model would that be?
I'm sure they'll post Dyno numbers soon enough. I'd rather wait and have no problems than get an inferior product.

They've only just got the production manifold done.
They've had a dyno test run using the prototype manifold.
Plans are to tune and dyno it with the new manifold sometime next week.

See how we go.

what dyno are they using? If it's a Dyno Dynamics or Mainline then the US guys will probably have a cry at how low the figures are :p

I'm interested in seeing what the production manifold looks like. The version at SEMA paired with the black sprintex blower looked very OEM. I liked that but wouldn't mind if they were able to also improve the intake manifold a little with their design.

Haven't seen the production one but the prototype one was made of plastic.
The whole kit still looks OEM. Still black with bits of silver lining.
Love the way it drives though. Boost when u want it. It's much more even now. Thinking about it now makes me grin. Hehehe.

In a world of 3D modelling, CNC and rapid prototyping there shouldn't be ANY difference power wise between the prototype and the production manifold.
These are all weird excuses.

To keep price target low, I guess this one is Cast Aluminium. No CNC their, exept to create mold but then after as with every mass production part you have production tolerance and inside IM roughness from casting. the last one can affect greatly the flow of the IM. That's maybe why they need to double check the first production batch.

creating tooling for cast alumium could also explain why production set up take that long.

I think they are waiting for the production bolts and nuts because the prototype
bolts and nuts aren't bolty and nutty enough.
