Paddle shifter extension
Any automatic buyers considering extensions for the paddle shifters? I've owned three cars now with paddles, and I've always felt they are two small. My wife's Fit is whe worst, they are tiny.
I've seen lots of aftermarket extensions for other cars. Does anyone know if there are any out yet specifically for the BRZ/FRS? |

I was originally going to go with a AT and upgrade the paddles to a works bell setup but honestly after a test drive for the driving ill be doing i do not like the paddles being steering wheel mounted. It makes it to hard to shift in turns where you are really moving the wheel a lot. My future plan..... if funds are available and if i really feel the need to is to convert a Manuel to this mastershift paddle system...http://mastershift.com/new-street-manual.html very cool setup

Nissan 370Z have the best paddles ever. They are big and magnesium and look just like a Ferrari 458 paddle.

I used to be in favor of a shaft mounted paddles, until I got on a closed course. On a race course you hardly ever go lock to lock so it's beneficial that your fingers are always near the paddles. If the paddles were shaft mounted you would have to take your hands off of the crucial 9 and 3 o'clock positions every time you tried to shift. Of course, everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but I was completely in the shaft mounted paddles till I actually got a chance to flog a car. I think it's one of those things where you have to actually try it out before it all sinks in.
