Whose still driving their car in this up and down weather? Anyone got any issues with their car window not rolling up like these guys? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23159

Also, some feedback would be nice on how reliable the car is for our winter from those who are still driving it.

I have experienced the window problem but its easy to fix when it happens. The big thing is to be aware and notice if it doesn't go back up when you shut the door. I've even got my wife trained to check.

1. Put the window all the way down (must use the control on that door)

2. After the window is all the way down continue to hold the switch for about 3 seconds.

3. Put the window back up.

As for winter reliability I've been pretty happy with it. Snow tires are a must, and it does get stuck in deep snow. Other then that as long as you keep in mind that its RWD and know how that effects the handling its great.

I was having some fun doing some short drifts in wide open areas today.

I'm tempted to buy the eibach r2 coilovers when they come out. Anyone else getting coilovers?

I was thinking about it Tein Flex coilovers, but honestly I'm pretty happy with the stock suspension. I'd like to see how it feels so if you if you get some I want a ride.

Sure thing. Dave-ROR mentioned that they come with 5F/6F springs, but you can swap them for stiffer Eibach ERS springs if those aren't stiff enough.

Yup, still driving, summer shoes; like, alone on a storm tossed sea in a ski boat at high speed, you know.

I've been driving mine through the winter without interruption. I have a Chevy Tahoe as my spare car, and it's just been gathering dust. My wife drives a Jeep Wrangler, and she can't believe I keep driving the FR-S no matter what. But with proper tires, I haven't had a problem whatsoever -- plus, I've had a lot of fun! I am fortunate to have a heated garage both at home and at work, but still I have had zero cold-weather related (or any other) issues.

Oh yeah Orb! That's how @avusblue does it. Funny thing is, the wheels look natural on the car.

Maybe, but headed to California looking to buy another sailboat, so the E85 waits.

I added 180 lbs of sand bags in my trunk for additional traction from my Nokian snow tires. I may post some details later on the snow tire thread.

New view

Check my location! I'm staying at the Lodge, Coronado Special Warfare Center - going to survey the boat on Wednesday.

Damn - there's an FR-S on every street in SDO, and boy, they are craaazy drivers!

This is a view of the lodging, and the view from my room.
