Thats not going to happen in USDM to have a bare bone choice.

Last two things I'm thining is first the price (Hopefully it will be 25K-28K USD and maybe 22K-23K USD for bare bone car).

Second, the brakes. According to the price, there will no front 4 and rear 2 big brake kits. I do have a set of EVO X brembo brakes but it will need lots of modification to do to make them fit, which may not worth to.

No mention of brembo so I doubt very much. But the type of rear disc is diff between high and low spec. Unfortunately I don't understand what it say.

Thanks, for brake disc you could get a set of nice after market one for cheaper price than OEM.

However, I really like high spec tacho meter, but want bare bone wheels and seats.

There are two ways I see this playing out based on this leaked information:

Scenario one has Subaru selling the "top-spec" model with choice of options here in the United States for around 28k while Scion sells the "low-spec" model with 16s and the plain interior for about 22~24k base before you pay for "extras".

Scenario two has Subaru again selling the "top-spec" model with all of the choice options (steering wheel mounted buttons, aluminum door sills, etc.) pre-installed for 28k base but Scion also sells the "top-spec" model, like the Subaru, but with far fewer options pre-installed at 22~24k but available for purchase at a ridiculous mark-up.

We'll see.

I have a feeling there will be alot of "Cool" add ons since scion is known for doing that,

I mean for the TC you can get TRD big brakes, so im sure for the FRS that will be an option as well.

I can't wait to get me one of these, but I wonder how long it will take for people to start selling diff head/tail light options and what not. Maybe I am getting ahead of myself.

I think the 16s look nicer than the 17s that the mule has been running aroun on though

Right, add about 50lbs for the "nicer" interior but I assume the base interior would be nice enough.

if u go to the bottom of spec sheet, where under each car it lists a number

5(high spec) 2(low spec) 4(mx-5?) 4(rx-8) 2(crz)

what does those numbers mean?

edit:

someone is a wizard!

So with all of this JDM info being leaked, does that mean USDM info could be leaked early as well?

Haven't seen this page of the document before, thinking it's just been photoshop as the background changes colours too.

Same source as the OP.

I just checked scion's website.

$1675 for a set of big brake kit is not bad. It may not as good as brembo. But with SS brake line, new brake fluid and drilled or slotted disc. It will good enough for me.

Thanks for the info.
