Awesome meeting both @KarstonC and @Scracho this past weekend, hope Sunday ended well for both of you!

I hope the event went smoothly! Maybe next year I'll brave the GP track

Thanks for the great instruction this weekend! Sunday turned out far better than expected, finally found the confidence to begin attacking the corners. Until I sat in with one of the veteran's corvettes, which re-calibrated my understanding on "attacking" corners all over again. All in all, an extraordinary experience!

It's not to be feared, just have to respect it and it's challenges.

Truth.

I had a hard time the entire weekend and just couldn't feel comfortable pushing. I had to respect the track and simply resign myself to just surviving and getting home in one piece. There will be other times.

Congrats to everyone else for doing a fan-friggin-tastic job on lap times however!

GP is a track where you need to recalibrate and seriously think about what everyone at the OTA school or any HPDE school stresses: smooth is fast. It isn't so much being brave but be cognisant of what you are capable of and what you don't know and what your current mental state is.

While mistakes at GP are not fun, I am often reminded of the Speed Secrets podcast where they say that the reason the pros are good is not because they don't make mistakes but because they make lots of MICRO mistakes and reel back just enough to appear perfect.

GP is a mental wall for me so I certainly could use some company scaling it together

Yeah, I agreed.

Ross always talk about how the pro makes ton of mistake but they are so good at making mistake. It's hard for people to spot them.

@wparsons Thank you so much! I attacked hard, and squeezed as much as I could. I feel more seat time here will do me some good and it was a pleasure having you instruct me through this monster of a track!

Episode 3 of Experience OTA is finally out! This round is taking us to CTMP's Grand Prix track, a true bucket list item to check off!

Unfortunately footage from Round 3 at DDT-1 kink spontaneously corrupted itself. Hence Episode 3 is covering Round 4!

Awesome work at GP @KarstonC! You pushed harder on your first time at GP OTA than I ever did. In fact, you actually beat me in a lower classed car that day. Well done!
