I have bits and pieces of the Snake and Mongoose ones from when I was a kid in a box around home someplace.

I have 2 drag slot car chassis in the S&M box. I was going to make drag cars. The slot track place by my house had a great drag strip. Then it went out of business because everyone started buying their parts on line. Now no track. Think I will still try to build them some winter.

I believe I have all the cox parts to make the cox one a slot car. Might just ebay it since it looks like the cox parts have really gone up in value.

Yeah. That's what the thread is for.
I blew most of mine up with firecrackers.

Haven't found a GTV kit that I think is adequate.
Have a 64 GTO kit still wrapped in the box.
It's a hardtop though, and I had a LeMans cab.

Something that people may be more familiar with that I finished back before Christmas for my son to give his boss. The pictures are crappy and the bases were not done when I took them but I will have professional grade shots of the completed models sometime soon. These are the Bandai kits which are designed more like really fancy Lego and are a joy to build.

Every time I see your photos, I want to get back into modeling. Maybe I need to scale down what I'm working on. My last "model" was a 1:1 scale two seater aircraft I still haven't finished. Here's a wing photo under construction:

Peach, with blue pearl in the clear. Frame is scratch built, with a white and grey marble or "bowling ball" finish. 2-link rear suspension works, using ball point pen springs, seats and doors both hinged as well. Whole kit started out as a 4x4.

Oh I don't know about that part. I have a couple of hundred boxes shoved in any available space around the house. The completed ones are sitting on just about any large enough, horizontal surface and you can't even see half of them. All in all they probably take up the same physical space as a small two seater aircraft. This is why I like to do the ones for other people so much. I get the fun but don't need to find someplace to shove the finished product.

I am amazed at how you are able to create such realistic effects.

Research Research Research.
I look at hundreds of pictures of the real thing then just make the effect smaller. Sort of like "what would the real thing look like from 50 feet away"\?"
The pictures I take actually show the fakeness of the effects more than the real things since they magnify everything.
