I bought a couple prototypes from this guy. Very honest and good to deal with. My mount is thinner but works ok. Best part is no modification or damage to the car if you want to remove it later. Very reasonable on price too.

I second that.. I was thinking of getting some Legos, super glue them, and make a trunk handle out of that.

If anyone was still interested in the phone mount, I setup an online shop to make the pruchase process more official and easier to coordinate.

https://www.shapeways.com/product/SX...ionId=65523861

A few members have ordered the mounts and seem to be very happy with them.

Cruse control Stock

I though about this earlier but has anyone though about when using after marker steering wheels, most of the time you lose CC. But i had a idea that if you 3d print a plate that goes between your aftermarket steering wheel and your hub adapter you could have the CC buttons on the side. that way there is no splicing or cutting of wires hopefully.

Do any of you think this is a good idea? or do most peoople dont care about CC.

Thanks!

That seems like an easy enough piece to model and print. I unfortunately have not replaced my steering wheel so I dont have a good grasp on the issue of losing cruise control.

If you have more pictures, it would be something I could look into.

Sure thing! one think i can send you the STL file ive been working on for a standard 6 hole pattern. infill 50% with .15 layer

Bodacious Bojo.stl.zip

Thats the bolt hole and a ring around it. should be big enough to sick out to be able to then build the boltholes for the CC buttons.
