I have been using DS2500 in my current car as a dd and for trackdays without issue; admittedly my current car only weighs 1080 kgs with me in the car. I am assuming the pads in the FRS/86 have a larger surface area so can cope with the extra 200kgs. This remains to be seen. I wouldn't be suprised if i do have to upgrade but then increased disc wear may be an issue. I have a cobra suzuka seat in my current car and it is the best performance mod i have made to the car but it was an issue to get the seat approved for registration and using the standard 3 point seat belt is not ideal. The Misano has been approved to ADR 3 and given it's a recliner makes the use of 3 point belt straight forward. As i said in my 1st post in this thread this will be my dd. I apologise for going off topic. regards Last edited by Captain Snooze; 02-07-2012 at 04:14 PM. |

Mine will be an almost daily. Keeping it fairly stock is the plan. Full exhaust, headers inc, bit of an intake change, coilovers, swaybars most likely, nice, light weight wheels with good tyres, maybe a better LSD...
WIll be a weekend fun car, possible occasional track fun, bit of wet skidpan... No real drifting planned, and no serious track work. Just sprint days and stuff |

The BRZ will be a replacement for my track oriented (yet still registered) Evo. That's not to say I'm going to prepare the BRZ to the extent my Evo is. I may stop with the track stuff altogether and enjoy having a nice new car with some luxuries, like, say, an interior.

^^sounds like you just need a truck and trailer
So much nicer once you finally get a tow setup. Currently switch between my bugeye and truck for DD duties whlie the coupe is the toy. Not sure what'll happen with my bugeye once the BRZ is in the driveway. Then I also have another old GC chassis sitting around with an EG33 under the hood. Except that essentially translates to "buy a house so you can go to the track".

yeah, because you can get a good used turbo diesel truck for $12k and a basic trailer used for $1500...man, that is one cheap house!
