Just got back from a quick road trip to Missouri. Longest trip I've taken in the FR-S so far. Car ran like a champ. Although my windshield and front bumper got annihilated by dirt/dust/tiny rocks. Windshield has a billion tiny rock chips all over, anyone know if this could be repaired?

If you don't wait too long, most car window repair shops can fix the small ones easily and for an acceptable price. Ask around

Good to read your car held up good on your road trip ....

A billion rock chips on the windshield .... ?? What did you do, take gravel roads all the way ..... or follow gravel trucks ...

My miata used to collect many very tiny "sand blastings" in the windshield; I'd just tough it out and have it replaced about every 40,000 miles.

Those mobile (or temp) windshield repair places can do good work ..... you might have them take a look at it.

One of the many reason I ordered a dash cam for my car

Sorry to hear about your car.

I think "sand blasting" is the proper term i was looking for. Yea that sounds about right, not actual rock chips but just surface damage. It's crappy looking but i can tough it out

First scheduled maintenance this morning. I also had the dealer order the new fuel pump for crickets. Although according to @frs-Matt they still come back, so fingers crossed!

Yeah stock. was going to add it to the SP Elite but I had issues with that and sold it quickly after. If my phone cooperates and it stops raining ill get 1 up. Its probably the same volume below like 2500rpm then a little rumble and rasp after that but its pretty minor. Only drove it about 4 miles since install but I must say there wasn't any smell and you can finally hear the exhaust outside the car. Quite pleased with the purchase so far. Local exhaust shop did it in like 15-20mins for 20 bucks. Such a good day! I want a freaking tune now!

Nice

Yea i would of liked to of heard it with the SP Elite. Lately I've been thinking about sticking with the stock exhaust but add new tips. And just upgrade the frontpipe, overpipe and the the header with a tune.

I am also going that route now I think. I want to stay very civil with my exhaust volume so if I do get a catback Ill probably get the Perrin or TRD to go with it. Apparently headers plus catless FP makes the car annoyingly loud on most setups. I have a local shop that does a the BRZedit tune for only $350 so I'm still debating if I want that or to lower it more.

Also, there are videos of the Greddy combo on YouTube.
