[Help] Iphone stuck in Subaru connect mode.

Plugged my phone into the usb so I can listen to it on my morning drive. When I shut the car off however it did not disconnect. I turn the car back on and it the nav screen just says loading/searching.

So I disconnected everything and my iphone doesn't react. Still has the sube logo on it and says "ok to disconnect" no buttons seem to work... Any thoughts on what to do before I hope it fixes itself when the battery dies?

Disconnect battery for 30 seconds, ECU will have to readjust but that should be fine.. other than that take it to your dealer, they should be able to flash/fix the software for you!

The car is back to normal but my phone still is in subaru mode. I have about 6% battery life left on it so we'll see if that fixes it.

For iPhone...should be able to hole power button down (top button) and iPhone will allow to slide to power off....then reboot.

You can press and hold the power button and home button simultaneously until the iPhone restarts. It might take 10-15 seconds of holding but it'll restart. It should be fine afterwards

Yeah when you hold the home and power button nothing will happen on the screen for that 10-15 seconds. The screen will just shut off and the apple logo will appear and your phone will reboot. You can try this even when it's not stuck, it's something built into the hardware, it works in nearly any situation. Saved my ass a few times I needed to make a phone call but my phone was being stupid.

Here it is under resetting your iPhone
