so when is everybody driving down to vegas?

we need to plan this thing already if we want a big caravan

i plan to go friday morning

Probably driving out Thursday. My boss wants to come, but he drives a WRX. Told him to watch his back. :P

I still haven't booked hotel, but assuming I go, I'd probably want to go mid-day Thursday and arrive by Thurs night, so I can chill in Vegas, make some money... cue the Kanye West ... "wait till I get my money right, then you can't tell me nothing right?" And autox on Friday night. LOL will there be a tire shop on site to replace tires?

Found rooms at a hotel on the Strip near the middle - good location across from Caesar's. Will be about $80/night on Fri and Sat after taxes and fees. Let me know if you are interested in sharing and I will book a double queen; otherwise I can book a single and let people crash on the floor if they want (gimme $10/night for beer/roulette money lol).

its the Quad... my bro tells me it used to be the Imperial Palace. Small and not so fancy but very centrally located.

if we leave 5PM ... won't we possibly get stuck in rush hour traffic in the Bay Area trying to leave? And 8-10 hr drive... we'd get into LV around 2-3AM. I would prefer to leave earlier like mid-day.
