Don't you buy all yours in a crashed condition anyway?

Technically this one wasn't crashed. It was a failed valve spring recall car instead.

Did not crash today due to lessened traffic for the government holiday...made the nice open, curvy, and hilly roads on the way to work satisfying, with no slowpokes in the way.

Yeah tell me about it, been lurking since 2018 but never got around to registering til now lol

Luckily I got a buddy who can help with this so I’m not that stressing that hard about it as I was earlier, only cosmetic, no mechanical.

Barely 13k miles I’ve driven on her and this happens, I should just be glad it’s only minor, I was planning on getting some wheels early in the year, but that can be pushed back a few extra months

My poor car got hit by so many things in the first 1,000 miles that I figure that I may as well just smack the next new one with a hammer and get the pain over with.
Have not crashed though.

My first dent was closing a shovel handle in the doorjam 2.5 months after buying it new...

Drove my FRS quite a bit today, in MD no less, and did not crash. Can't say that about my Buick! Actually driving in to work again is fun... Not.

Drove my FR-S ~300 miles over the weekend to visit a buddy I hadn't seen in 40 years! A little beer, a lot of reminiscing, and did not crash.

Drove my FRS from one side of my garage, to the other side of my garage, without leaving my garage. Did not crash.

My 860 is parked for the winter. Every month I move it (by hand) far enough to rotate the wheels 90 degrees to alleviate flat spotting. Got a little crazy this last weekend and moved it far enough for a 180 degree rotation. Got close to a wall but DID NOT CRASH!
