Wekfest was pretty awesome...it reminded me of the days when HIN was actually good. Lots of quality cars and a well organized event.
I thought I'd meet more forum members...however, the ones I did meet were really cool people. I'm guessing there were about 15-20 FR-Ss and BRZs at Wekfest. I got to see some things I was looking forward to seeing, for example... I wanted to see rocket bunny fenders in person...the ones I did see were not installed very well IMO. Even if I had seen better examples I'm still leaning towards not going the RB route... I love the Varis Arising II rear bumper cover... I got to see one of those and the fitment was excellent. I like the Arising II front bumper cover as well but I have no plans to change out my front bumper cover right now. __________________________________________ projekt zeal86 build zeal.eightsix Facebook Instagram @zeal.eightsix Last edited by zeal86; 10-03-2016 at 06:07 AM. |

Enjoyng the build! Congrats on winning! Very well deserved.
Wish I had big shows to attend that went super far from me. Price you pay to living in the midwest away from everything I suppose.

I hope to move close to San Antonio or Houston within the next two years or so... The town I live in is my last duty station before separating from the military, I kind of got stuck here. It's not so bad...just wish bigger cities were closer.

One of the few pics I have of my ride that I didn't shoot.
^^Original photo taken by Instagram @thehypercreations I edited and cropped it a bit. As she lays... This car condom does great keeping the dust off my 86. __________________________________________ projekt zeal86 build zeal.eightsix Facebook Instagram @zeal.eightsix Last edited by zeal86; 10-07-2016 at 09:48 PM. |

I'm planning on ordering some Bride Zeta III seats in red, Bride seat brackets, Cusco 6-Point harnesses, and an Agency Power harness bar (to be painted Beatrush gold) soon.
Here is the thing... I'm considering leaving the passenger seat out and building a low level storage out of aluminum and covered in an OEM-like fabric or black Alcantara to fill the space. No one rides in my car so I figure why pay the extra money for a seat, seat brackets, and harness no one will use. Plus, I could always add the seat, bracket, and harness down the line. Anyway... I'm still debating it. __________________________________________ projekt zeal86 build zeal.eightsix Facebook Instagram @zeal.eightsix |

Btw, I've researched full cage versus harness bar and I understand the differences and the potential safety issues. I will use the OEM 3-point belt when driving.
Since my 86 is a hobby, show, and weekend car for me, I feel I can get away with just the harness bar. The 6-point belt I might wear from time to time but it will mainly be used for show. Oh, I might build a rear seat delete... if I do, I will definitely post all my measurements in a write-up...It will probably be in the form of a schematic created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as a pdf. I would make it readily available through email to anyone wanting to give it a try. __________________________________________ projekt zeal86 build zeal.eightsix Facebook Instagram @zeal.eightsix |

How would you rate this product overall on a scale of 1 to 10? Any issues/complaints worth mentioning? How solid does it feel once installed? Thanks in advance.
