Possibility of group buy or ft86club discount code? These look very competitive against PnP HID kits that need ballasts and wiring mounted and tucked away. These LEDs look much cleaner of an install.

EDIT: Found it. 10% off with ft86. Who is the member that had the LED install in your pictures?

Ah crap. Bought them without the discount. Any chance of fixing my own impulsiveness?

So, could you tell me why I should get these over the HIDs? I'm trying to figure out what I want.

Was this question ever answered? "Do you still need to push down the little "squirrel finders" so there's no glare to oncoming traffic?" And how is the cut-off? Really like this tech just want to clarify a couple of questions.

Thanks

I'll post up some feedback and compare it with my HID's when I get the set in.

The FR-S that installed it did not perform this mod, and the local guys to me that purchased these for their cars did not do it either. These are brighter than halogen bulbs, but do not produce as much glare as HID kits, and haven't had any issues with law enforcement or other drivers on the road flashing them.

I'll be doing another install on a 2013 Camry soon with factory projectors so i'll take a picture 25ft from the wall to show how the beam pattern is.

Pros:
-Super simple install, direct bulb replacement and a short wiring harness adapter to fit your vehicle's factory wiring harness.
-12v system, no ballast or controllers, which means less parts to fail and no flickering/warm up that's usually associated with HID kits
-Does not require a relay harness, only 22w compared to factory halogen bulbs which range from 55w-65w, less stress on your alternator and electrical components

Cons:
-Not as bright as HID kits, but at 1200lm per bulb, it's a great improvement (almost double) over the factory halogens, great for city driving
-Only available in one color (not sure if this is really a con) 4300k OEM hid xenon color, sorry to those who want 3000k yellow or 8000k blue colors.

bump! it sucks to say that i'm currently out of stock on the H11 and 9006 sizes, these turned out to be very popular. My next shipment is arriving next week, so you can continue to place an order, it'll be shipped out as soon as I can. thanks for the support guys

Albert,

Another question if you would. How is the distance of light cast by the LED's compared to stock? If that makes sense? I've read the range of LED's is shorter? How do the high beams work?

Thanks
