Yes. The studs are on the HEAD and not the BLOCK.

100% use the Nord Locks. We are ISO at work and started using them in place of nyloc nuts. The only thing is you need to use a torque wrench and use the correct torque to get the right amount of bolt or stud stretch to get the correct clamp load so the nord locks work. Clear as mud? BTW they do have some cheaper knock offs made by other companies. They also work.
