Any suggestions on 57 xtremes with 18x8.5 +42 all around on bilstein b14's thinking toyo t1 sports in 255/35/18 but not 100% sure. Also thinking 245/40/18 but worried about clearance on the front on both setups.

Looking at 255/35/18 to put on my new 18x9.5 +40 rims, any other suggestions? I do not like a lot of side wall but like plenty of surface tread for those mountain drives. Was hoping to accomplish this on stock suspension.

Hey guys, I have come across many conflicting answers on this subject and couldn't seem to find the answer in this thread easily. What is the widest tire I can run on the rear without any major rubbing issues (mainly concerned about the rear fender). I would like to run a 255-265 tire if possible.
I am looking at of XXR 530 18x8.75 +33 wheels or 18x9.75 +20 for the rear. |

XXR 530 +35
First and foremost I know nothing about offset and this thread is massive lol. I currently have stock rims and brand new tires. With the perfect tires I'd like to keep them and just replace the wheels . My questions: as long as the width and diameter are the same I can use my tires on the new wheels? And last would+35 offset be off too much or would that wheel work?

245/40 is slightly tall, it depends on how low you are. If you aren't lowered more than an inch you should be ok. Much lower(~2inches), you could rub near full lock. Quote:

18x9.75 won't fit unless you run 4-5+ camber or are ok with 20-30mm of poke. Quote:
Stock 215's on a 9inch is a medium to big stretch. Read the specs on the tire from the manufacturer and decide if you feel it is safe or not. I personally don't mind a stretched tire, but they have higher chance of failure because the tire was not designed/tested/etc in that manner. Once again, look at the tire specs. If it makes you feel any better I am running a 225/40-18 on a 9.5 width wheel. |

+35 17x9 is a common setup.

Just curious if +35 is too big of a difference from the +48 stock offset |

Get a ruler and measure 13mm and go outside and imagine how it would look 13mm further out. Pretty much 1/2 inch. Should be nice without going too big. I personally like something a little bigger, but it will fit with no problems.

I'm lost with this wheel stuff. I was wondering if anybody can help me with the offset. I'm looking to buy Klutch SL14 18x9.5 all around with 245/40/18 all around as well. will +42 in front and +30 in the rear work with stock ride?

Quick tire fitment question for you experts:
I'm looking for a set of winter tires to mount on my stock rims. I know the stock tires are 215/45/17, but I've found better deals on a few different models that come in 215/50/17 or 215/55/17. Can I run these slightly higher profile tires? Suspension is fully stock. Thanks in advance! |

Cool, thanks. The ones I'm looking at are 25.5 so it sounds like they should be alright then.
