The 86 was obviously being driven by a retiree from Florida, going around the world to the right, based on the blinker.....

Probably saw what was coming up behind him, hit the blinker, crapped his pants and sat there saying "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit"
At least that is what I would have done under the circumstances.

I love the irony of your name and your comment!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't imagine anybody could hold a camera still in a car with a suspension that probably makes the FRS seem like a Caddy.

I worked in television for ten years, primarily as a news videographer. My screen name was an ironic reference to the fact that my shoulder work was just about as smooth as any you'll ever see. Even so, I also knew when to use a camera support.

From professional experience I can tell you that the guy who shot that video didn't have the slightest clue how to handle a camera. That was obvious from the very beginning, when he was walking around with the camera inexplicably at waist height getting jittery crotch shots of all the guys standing around. It was bad before he even got into the car. That's fine if it's just your home movies, but not if you're going to edit it together and actually show it to people.

If he didn't have the skill to float that camera in that car, he should have mounted it somewhere and locked it down. Under no circumstances should the footage he shot have been used, because the terrible camerawork distracts from the purported purpose of the video, to showcase that driver driving that car. They had GoPros locked down in the car. They should have edited the entire video from the footage from those and erased what the guy recorded handheld.

Whoa take it easy there big guy!
Ya I hear you on their choice of what footage to use and the guy obviously was not any type of pro. Probably just some dude that got a ride and had a camera handy not a production video.
Still get a chuckle out of the name and comment though.

I enjoyed the video linked from that page of The Iceman, one of my fav F1 pilots, even more although I thought glorious V12 engine sounds weren't as glorious as expected.
