For those interested, more pics in this thread on it: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1479075

Why couldn't they just make one that looks like the EUDM one, but slide from front to rear. It could then even be a rear seat armrest for passengers in the rear when it slides back.
My Imagination Below (Sorry for the Terrible MS Paint) Something similar to the armrest in the 2nd Gen Lexus IS

Ditto it looks backward but I wouldn't mind installing it and giving it a run for the right price.

I like that a lot better than the other one by Toyota.

Another one of the obsessions about this car I don't get (like debadging and Monogram Series).

I rest my arm on the plastic behind the e-brake and have no issue with it. I use the cupholders and the areas in front and behind for things like my phone, change, a Nalgene bottle. Plus a big thing right there would make it hard to shift.

Possibly it could be mounted backwards when it's being installed.

It's North Americans coffee obsession that told Toyota it needed cup holders. Just cover the dam hole. The one in the door is good enough. The ones in the console are just way to far back. Almost useless.

I still like the euro one too. Even the cheap ones that just plug into the cup holders look better

I wish there was a way to test this thing out. I don't want to drop 200 bucks on something I may or may not like. I never thought I'd say this, but I've gotten used to putting my arm by the e-brake and it's relatively comfortable for me now. I still wouldn't mind having a legitimate arm rest, but I'd like to see if it's worth the money.

Drove 14 hours straight with this and it is very comfortable.

Seeing the video of the install, the shape of the parts, and the bolt locations, I don't think this would be possible. Unless you install it without the frame that goes over top of the rails. Looking at the rails, they don't tapper off in the rear, its the added frame that goes on top that gives it that appearance, and its molded to fit the back of the center console and not the front near the handbrake.
