I just plastidipped the front of the camera case and remounted the camera bit to the left from my last. Looks good and mostly stealth.

I wouldn't worry about the warranty with this. It's non invasive, we're not cutting any wires and we can remove it any time.

Looks awesome! One thing I would be concern about is the heat the camera produces... wouldn't the plasti-dip affect it's cooling ability?

Just got my camera. The seller set it up for me already and left some video of him on it. Funny seeing the map in Seoul. Looking forward to getting this thing wired up this weekend!

I did the install. All went well except.

My SD card didn't come with any software on it. So that was a big fiasco.

During the install I follow the instructions to the T. BUT, as I was going out to dinner my slip light and ABS light came on. As the officer was pulling me over and telling my brake lights weren't functioning I put 2 and 2 together.

So this morning I go out to look it thinking a fuse is blown... nope, not that. Weird. I bet the problem might be internally in the add-a-fuse thing. So I then pull out the Voltmeter... Let's see of any of these empty, non-used sockets are hot so I don't have to tap into something as crucial as my brake lights. BINGO. The open circuit directly next to (behind) the STOP LIGHT circuit was hot with the key off. I used that and all is good.

Just and FYI to everyone. We have unused, HOT circuits in our fuse panel that we can use so we don't have to tap into existing circuits. FYI.

Is there anyway that you can cover/cenceal/hide it. I feel like having it on my dash would make people want to break into my car to steal it =\

The Sd card is supposed to be blank, when you plug it into the camera, it should install the software. After the camera installs the software, you can remove the ad card and plug into PC to adjust software.

I was concerned about that too.

I used a big convex rear view mirror (broadway) and I turn off the LED lights, plus plastidipped the camera black (just the front half), really hard to see unless you're looking for it. You can't really see it from inside of the car either.

In the manual it lists up to a 32gb card but has anyone tried a 64gb card with any success? I'd like to record as long as possible as yesterday I recording something I wanted to save but forgot to take the car out and download it so after driving around all day today I have lost record of that event.

I need to jump up from the 16gb card anyway. I also noticed there's very little difference between 720p @ 30fps and 1080p @ 30fps. I wonder if clarity is noticeably improved when reducing compression from high to normal.
