Performance Package Pad Life?

I hit 30k miles a couple months ago and my pads were fine. But I was curious if anyone knows how long the OEM pads last on the PP Brembos? I know a lot of things play into longetivity but was curious what the estimated life was.

Great timing.

I'm 50 miles from 30k right now and my pads have about 30-40% life left in them.

I've done a track day/autox day here and there and a bunch of canyon driving, plus daily-ing. So I'd imagine that plus driving technique plays into it?

So I just ordered and received Endless Super Street S-types to try.

I forgot where mine were at when I got my last check up. Lol I'll just have to pull them out and look. Never changed pads on brembos before so this will be new.

Haha. I know the last time I had a shop work on the car they said 30 and 40% left, and it's been a few months of driving since already.

Easiest pad change you'll ever do. I can do all 4 corners (at the track) in under an hour. It's one of the main reasons I purchased a PP car.

13k and nearly done. 1 dry track day, 1 wet track day. Otherwise the wear is mostly from playing on back roads.

I swap to a set of Winmax W5s on track days.

Do the stock PP pads start squealing when the car is almost stopped due to wear or is that just how they are once the temperature drops? I'm at just over 14k and they were pretty quiet when I bought the car in August and didn't start squealing (though they still don't do it all the time) until the temps here dropped below 45F.

They may just need to be serviced. Some lube on the back of the pads where they contact the caliper may help with squeel. They're semi metallic from my understanding, which can be prone to squeeling

Do a few high speed braking runs, not to dead stop though, typical to breaking in new pads.

I find this works for a month or so, rinse and repeat.

I've found this happens with alot of harder pads, the OEM Brembo's, QFM A1RM's and such.

Opinions may vary
