I've thought hard about buying a Copan, or a Suzuki Cappuccino, as toy for getting around base.

The Diahatsu is considerably cheaper though, and in my opinion has a much cooler exterior design.

Because stock pads are meant for the stock tires. They don't have the bite or increased mu needed when slowing down hard with higher performance tires... meaning they slow down a little slower than expected. The WINMAX W3 pads cured the problem and have an excellent linear mu curve throughout their temperature range... which means very precise braking control/better control of the chassis as the speed decreases.

I generally drive a little faster than traffic, speed up for turns, and can usually make it through stop and go traffic without hardly ever touching the brakes. Mostly use engine braking to do the majority of slowing down for intersections and then the brakes to come to a complete stop from third or second gear.

100% serious.
Exactly what did I post did you not understand or think was a joke?
Serious question, have you ever worked on cars?
If you did, you'd know exactly what I am talking about

No guide needed. Just pull it out and grease it

And this is why a ban is needed.

You cannot ban for stupid, or I would have been perma banned years ago.

If you don't like a thread don't read or don't respond.

The world has enough grammar nazis, spelling nazis, and generally over opinionated people with an elevated assumption of self worth.

Like me......

Where under the sun does your car live? That rotor looks like it's spent most of its life under salt water -

And don't be asking me if I ever worked on cars because that will just bring up a whole bunch of back-in-the-day stories -

Nope. I have never worked on cars. I barely know where to put the gas.

I assumed it was a joke because it’s about the stupidest thread I be ever read.

Yes, nice shot of a Rocky Mountain brake kit on a Model T -

Yep, some folks today think they invented brake modifications with BBKs.

Back then, the only brakes were an expanding drum in the transmission and a half assed emergency brake on the rear axle.

Since neither worked worth a damn, some folks would mod the braking system by adding a Rocky Mountain brake kit. They worked pretty good unless they were wet and your vehicle was sliding backwards.

Where was I ….. what were we talking about …. oh, yes, then mechanical brakes came along and were standard ….

Oh, mrs humfrz just brought me ma meds - check you later, hopefully -
