The new car is a 6 speed Ecoboost Premium with 201A package and Black Accent package. I will miss the cornering ability of the 86 but the ride comfort (or lack thereof) is a faint memory. Bummer about your back. Glad you found something better for you that is still fun. Best of luck.

Don't get me wrong. If I was a younger version of myself the ride and low seat height would be a non issue. I am just not aging well. During my test drive I took these 2 things into consideration and at the time my back was doing fine. My back pain is not a 24/7 365 issue. I have bad days months and good times too. I just got to the point that the bad times far out weighed the good times. So a change was definitely needed. I do miss the go kart cornering of the 86. The Mustang does corner pretty well even though I haven't really tested it yet. But it does it with a bit of body roll. Not a lot like an old Cadillac but more than the 86. I definitely can feel the extra weight of the car. I will adjust. And the Ecoboost doesn't have a frigging torque dip. Yaaah Fn Hooo.

Congrats man, it’s a terrific car, and your health is always priority 1. The Ecoboost is a true gem of an engine, I love it. Imagine throwing that in an 86!

I haven't got into it too much yet. But the little that I have has been exciting. It really pulls good.

Turbos are so much fun, and from what I’ve read that engine can easily make more power. Have fun and drive safely!
