Finally we agree on something. I know the idiot who started nvus, and I have inside knowledge on that club. Lemme just say that it's a money-making operation and only the leader is profiting.

He basically pushes overpriced products to his 'congregation' in return for free parts for his 8th gen si.

Because he doesn't have one to begin with. He just tries to stir up shit by coming onto a car forum and telling everyone that the subject car is a piece of shit.

I got rid of my 2007 Civic because it was just plain boring but good on gas. You might think everybody on this forum thinks the car is perfect in a childish kind of way but some people haven't experienced major quality issues. I am not a fanboy as this is my first Toyota/Subaru product(I had 3 Honda's and a Infiniti prior). I also had minor issues with every one of them but trust when I say that the Twins aren't perfect either. No. Car. Is.
It was purchased for me. In my line of work im often given gifts like this with the expectation of testing it for other members of my team. I'm in a new car every few months. My disappointment in this car is legit, don't let the fanboys be distractive

If what you're saying is true then that's a sad way to live. I hate the Dodge Challenger but I would never sign up on whatever forum that's dedicated to it and bash it. I'm too grown for stuff like that.

You do realize that the way you phrased that sounds like you are saying that everyone who is happy with their purchase is in denial and should hate their car. That may not have been your specific intention with that post, but it is certainly what it sounds like. Labeling every enthusiast as a 'fanboy' is just a way to trivialize their opinion, again- this is certainly what it sounds like you are saying. It is possible that some people may not like their car, and just don't want to admit it, but that is unlikely to be representative of the majority. Declaring a car as being 'horrible' and that the people who like the car, despite what you think, as being completely wrong and in denial is one of the most biased statements that I've ever heard.

You mentioned that the car was given to you, and you would probably receive another vehicle at some point. Hopefully the replacement will make you happy in the way that op is happy with is new car.

Anyway, I'm bored with this thread. If you hate the car, replace it as soon as you can, and if you hate the community, then leave- nobody is making you stay.

You still haven't responded to any of my points, after a half dozen posts.
I'm also wondering where you'd work in Visalia that you'd be given a 25 thousand dollar car for testing purposes. Not even Edelbrock wants to buy their own for R&D.

I have a strong suspicion you are indeed trolling. Every post you've made on this forum has hate on this car and reeks of fake account to just mess with people. Also no one that owns the car outright says it's crap otherwise they would've never bought it....

I just want him to actually give me a thought out answer instead of just a drive by post about how the car is awful and we're all "fanboys" for enjoying ours.

Why would this car be so expensive. LMFAOOOO Im just glad that one of my managers bought me this for street and track use, because I wanted to try it out but there is no way I was gonna pay for this cheapness/slowness.
An inflation-adjusted price for a new RSX Type S in 2002 would put it a few thousand more expensive than the Twins.
So we got the same power (albeit no VTEC), RWD, 6-speeds, HIDs, etc. (basically more equipment standard) for less money.

Not seeing how it's overpriced.

You're not gunna get an answer because he's trolloling. Ineffectively, I should add. There's zero evidence he owns one, and being given a "25k gift from his manager" is quite suspect.
