Well no one knows 100% i works, thee TSB came out in October and one factor is warm ambient air temp. If it's audible make an appointment at the dealer print out the TSB from here and bring it with you. Basically if you hear the chirp this version of the pump is supposed to fix the issue.

No chirps since I got the HPFP replaced. Temps have ranged from 20F - 90F. We'll see again when it gets into the Hotlanta summers.

It's been 4+ years and we still can't get a 100% confirmation this issue has been addressed and fixed? That's a shame.

Totally false, so far some have reported no chirps with the October 2016 TSB pump replacement in 80 degree temps. During the summer the reports of those, like me who had the pump changed in the winter, are waiting for the warm hot air temps. The warm temps are a necessary factor that caused the chirps. Be patient sir.

3500 miles on my 2017 with no chirping. Perhaps the revised camshafts/fuel pump have fixed the issue for 2017 onward? (93 fuel only, mixed gas stations)

I'm About to hit 1,800 miles in my 17 BRZ and don't even have hint of crickets, even with high temps here in Texas. The car has run 91 and 93, all containing "10% ethanol." My 14 BRZ started having crickets at about 600 miles.

3-400 miles on the new pump (Oct 2016 version), had cold and hot days, not a chirp. My original pump chirped between 2-300 miles.

2017 with 7900 miles. Just started chirping yesterday/today.
That being said, I picked mine up at the end of August, so if there was a new HPFP in October, then idk. I thought the one from the recall was the same as the '17, but I could be wrong.

Did you check the part numbers? I think some of the earlier 2017's may have gotten the older fuel pump. New pump should be SU003-07326.

Can you post an audio clip. The pump on the 2017 car is the same pump used in the TSB. I'm hoping you are hearing something else.

I haven't, and I definitely got one of the first 2017's in the country, from what it seems. Haven't heard of anyone in the USA with an older pickup date than mine so far. (8/28/16)

I'll see if I can check tonight. Is it easily visible?

Yeah, I'm sure I can do that later tonight.
It sounded exactly like crickets though, so... Here's to hoping I have an older pump design since mine's an early '17

You just need to look at the top of the pump If it is flat it is a new type.
