I appreciate that the Twin has been manufactured in significant number but it will become a sought after car in 15/20 years time especially M/T. N/A, M/T, RWD a great combo who won't want a piece of the action be it slightly under powered with an ugly Twin.

Yea well it's not so great in traffic for the guy following right behind you as the bright red light stares right into the driver's eyes and cause a distraction that's the thing.

In Europe if fog lights are used under clear conditions with no fog, the driver can be ticketed.

It's very location based, growing up in different markets makes us understand and appreciate certain things, like Japan had cars that had another bumper mounted brake light or some countries would have that light on as another rear driving light (in red). Just depends how bright the bulb is really to affect those behind although if white, if can be misconstrued by others that you're backing up.

Have those courtesy lights on the door always been functional on BRZs? And white?

Yes and BRZ also has a trunk release button just above the rear license plate.

I noticed the door cards that they got on B is for Build had red, and I figured they were import (also had black trim, not silver). Maybe just a premium?

I don't think anyone in this thread has provided this information. Thought id add:

http://www.donlen.com/buildstart-subaru.html
Not certain about the websites credibility but it states you can begin ordering 2017s on 6/30/2016 with deliveries arriving in September.
