Could it be the recirc diaphragm / butterfly slamming shut? You could see that on a dyno run or maybe with a go-pro under the hood.

I may take you up on that. It's easy to replicate like I said. WOT and shift at high rpm. You'll hear it each time. There are the other ways as I mentioned to replicate but this is the easiest to do so.

We are hosting a dyno day out here on the 23rd and 24th. Toni @FA20club is coming down to tune some vehicles. I am just paranoid due to DI issues.

Anyone else running the fa20club tune? If so how many revisions have you gotten and are you seeing any lean spikes or shuddering below 3k under partial throttle? I am seeing lean spikes up to 19 on my latest tune.

I don't think the sensors are failing, i think they are hitting max voltage for a pre determined (by the ecu code) amount of time / capped out. The solution is to install a map sensor with a wider range and redo the map scale table in the rom.

From the FSM:
P0108
Manifold absolute pressure sensor voltage is 3.906
V or more for 2 seconds or more.
(1 trip detection logic)

The cheap fix is to disable to CEL in the rom. the Proper solution is to install a sensor with more range and calibrate it properly since there are port injector scale tables that rely on the map sensor output as an input. Sorta like boost comp tuning on AEM.

I am thinking of upgrading my map sensor for when the stage 2 kit comes out. Any one purchased one they would recommend?

Here in Perth Sprintex provided a 2.5 bar MAP sensor with their kits (which includes the intercooler). I will find out what make/brand it is for you.

I believe @moto-mike is working with the omni 3bar, awaiting details on that one.

Still have this annoying noise. I have checked the car over and over. Good news is that it's not the DI popping sound. After watching several vids on this I am at least that much relieved. I just wish I could figure it out as its a thorn in my side.
