Broken Stock Air Filter Housing

After two months of CEL and SKID light and couple of repair (new ECU, mass air flow sensor, new intake gasket) the dealer just found that the air filter housing was broken and was leaking ...

But they are insinuate that i broke it and i should have made all my oil change with them because they inspect all the filter ... Guess what the last two oil change they done it. The front desk man was a bit upset ...

Anyway i should not have to worries for warranty but i want to know if i'm the only one that occur.

Thks

The air filter/MAF housing is a pain to reinstall. I find the tab on the bottom right doesn't want to go back into its hole easily, so I can see how an oil change tech might try to rush it and break something. Do you know exactly where it was broken?

Great news. I once had those same lights come on with codes p0171p171b, which frightened me.. after installing my avo turbo kit, I never experienced this again.
