That moment when you get stuck behind someone getting on the freeway at 35 mph... And it's a CLA45 AMG. Smh.

Cut them some slack. You know something on it is broken and they physically couldnt go any faster

I fucking love slot cars ever since I was a kid and my dad took me to a huge slot car racing place in Wisconsin. They had 3 enormous tracks. We went and raced every week for years.

Thanks for reminding me to go slot car racing when I fly to Wisconsin in a few weeks!

There used to be a Thai place called Homeroom Racing on Park St. in Alameda that had a HUGE slot car track that my wife and I used to frequent. I was there for the slot cars and she was there for the Tom Yum lol. Too bad they're closed now...

There was a slot car place in SJ, Camden and Union, Hobby shop, RC Unlimited or something, wasn't the greatest but cars were fast, might be closed according to google, idk.

Edit: Yup, bankrupt, oh well.

Yeah, that seems to be the trend, sadly! Fortunately the place in Wisconsin is still open! http://www.lucky-bobs-slot-cars.com/...-pictures.html

I dont get how slot cars work. Is there some sort of skill to it or just hope you go the fastest without flying off track?

The cars ride on an electric track and you basically control the speed of the car. Sure, you don't have to steer, but there's some skill involved in modulating the speed, having to balance going through the corner as fast as possible with out flying off.
