One of the biggest of all pedestrian safety specs is that the hood has to give at a certain impact force (I do not know the actual numbers) to reduce head injuries. Yes, they really have a number on how hard it is ok to hit your head.
Again there are after market hoods that have been tested and are complaint with these requirements.
There is nothing illegal about using non compliant body parts in most States but if you have a non compliant hood and hit a pedestrian that dies from a head injury you are probably going to have a bad time if their lawyers find out you had it.

Yep that was another casualty. Same as everybody thinks fold in mirrors are a nice new feature they just gave away. Nope, gotta have em if the mirrors protrude a certain distance and are within a set height from the ground.

an ITB kit for 2018?! finally! hopefully that's true! i used to run ITBs on my old AE86s' blacktop 20v 4age and I'll tell you something, nothing beats the sound of a high reving engine with ITBs. i loved that car. if i ever found another AE86 as mint as mines was, i would gladly trade my FR-S for it without thinking twice about it. dont get me wrong, i love my FR-S but have a lot of history with the AE86.

anyways, no update on the GRMN parts?

id really like to know more details about the header. it's a EL header right?

thanks guys!

I was just shitposting. The inside scoop is to not believe anything broken by motoring.au. They are the undisputed king of rumour mills.
