Suddenly the BRZ seems like even more of a value!!! lol. 4 months ago I wouldn't have cared about HID's but after driving with them for a while, halogen lights just...kinda suck.

Keep your eyes out on the junkyard maybe? It's likely cheaper in the end to buy a BRZ and swap to a FRS bumper with someone. That would be my recommendation, that way you get the extra features on the BRZ premium to boot, for the minimal price increase.
You might be right, if i can atleast get a price on the OEM headlights full setup i'll know what to do, though im not really worried about this mod being cheap. I know its going to be pretty pricey. Any idea on where to start looking?

If they are above the 1.1k ill just get a BRZ... but i'll have to wait and see.

$1100 a side is robbery. I think it might be $550 a side wholesale which is still high.

If a quality smoked aftermaket housing gets released with a HID projector in it I would jump all over it. I am one of the few people who actually prefer the Euro spec 86 HID over the BRZ HID.

Anyone know what aftermarket brands would make these? Maybe it's already in development. I'm holding out for an 86 replica headlight myself.

why not just get the FR-S headlight retrofitted that way you still have a cut off height... I know a guy here in SoCal that does a great job... then you have an option on adding those LEDs in there IF youd like...

I like the simpler headlight design that the FR-S comes with, its just the black housing that i like on the BRZ's. I've decided im gonna bake the stocks and paint the chrome housing black. HID's are cheap nowadays so why's everyone trippin on that?? lol

OH and Snoopy, that white BRZ is beautiful!!!!!

I feel like if you want HID then you have to get the BRZ. Sure you can retrofit or buy the OEM parts, but if you ever crash or have a malfunction they are not warrantied or insured. HID was a strong factor in the decision for me.
