Best RPM to set OFT Launch Control to?

Currently running the stage 2 E85 tune from the OFT, loving the Launch Control, but hoping to lower the RPM limiter to 4k or so. (I believe it's set at 5,500)
I was hoping to get some feedback from people that have it set to a lower rate and are happy with the results

It going to depend on heaps of factors like

tyres width compound pressure ect
road surface
engine torque ie runnung e85 or stage1\2 tune ect
your tollerance for drivetrain abuse
do you want to just drop or slip\ manage clutch release ect

but arround 4000 seem a reasnoble compromise ie delta = 3600 for redline of 7600

also, for those posting up let us know if you just dump the clutch or slip it a bit.

I found I need to slip mine just a bit to prevent bogging. If I launch at too high an rpm I just end up with wheelspin!

I definitely slip the clutch just a little, but with the RPM so high I end up spinning all the way up to redline haha. I'm still on 17s with stock width. (Not stock Michelin, but close enough)
-Stage 2 E85
-Open Flash Header
-Summer tires on Dry normal pavement

Thanks for the reply steve, I will go ahead and modify the delta to 3600 in romraider (haven't used romraider yet, but I'm sure I'll figure it out)

Way too many factors to give you an answer online. Start in the 3500 range and test it out on the type of surface you'll use it on the most. Personally, I use it for autox and the starting line in my lot has very little grip so I'm in the low 3000 range with 245 ZII tires.

I'm stock on stg2 e85 map with a drop in filter. At 5500 at the strip I spun so much I almost ate the wall. I set it to 4500. And go around the waterpit.

Oh! Last step. Set TC to like half off? Just push button once. Step it at 45 and go. It'll slip just enough to get up n go. Even on dry pavement.

All Stock on E85? Hows it running I'm interesting in trying it out?

It's not going to be a HUGE difference, but it's a nice kick in the pants over stock. If you have an OFT already and live near a station with E85, you absolutely should give it a try. I'm stock and have been on E85 with OFT stg2 EL tune for several thousand miles and it's been perfect.

Edit: it may be related to throttle mapping more than anything, but i feel the E85 the most during highway passing. it's just so effortless going from 75-85 in 6th.

100% accurate.

Also satisfying to blow the doors off of certain folks who wanna get cute on the highway on my way home from work at 3 am...

I was under the impression that TC had to be fully off? I'll have to mess with settings.
I'll probably set it 3600-3800, the 5500 is just way too high.

I'm currently running E85 on stage 2 tune with only K/N drop in and Inlet tube as well. But my UEL Header is coming in a week which will definitely help quite a bit

Their is no software lockout between Launch Control and Traction Control.

Launch Control is simply an rpm limit when car is doing less than the LC disengage speed.
You can have the Traction Control Fully on ,Sport mode or fully off. TC will just limit the amount of wheel spin depending on mode.
