Problem but no Code
So as the title says i have a problem. I was going for a run in my car 2014 AT edelbrock SC frs and when i went wot something happened. I was in first and i decided to go to wide open throttle and all of a sudden i hear a weird almost crunching sound and then a noise like something came loose. At the same time the car lost power and i couldn't accelerate anymore, i let go of the gas and went to press it again and the car would start shaking bad and the power would jump around, i then pulled over and turned the car off. I turned it back on and it seemed fine so i starting to accelerate slowly and it seemed to be perfectly fine. When i push the throttle over 25% the problem seemed to start again. I checked everywhere i could and everything seems to be fine, although i only really checked the engine bay as much as i could and tried to lay under the car to check the exhaust but could hardly see it. Looked fine though and i started the car again to see if there were any codes but there was none and now when i turn it on it sounds bad like somethings loose garling around in the engine or something i dont really know how to explain it. Im fairly new at cars so not sure what to do next, if i have to ill take it to a mechanic but id rather see if i can find something first. Any help would be appreciated or if theres anything i should check or try let me know. Thanks!
TLDR- Went wot, something broke/got loose, car now runs fine under low load but bogs and shakes bad when trying to accelerate past 25% or faster then 25mph. |

Stop turning the car on to see what happens or the broken part will break everything around it. Have it towed to a mechanic.

First thing to do is quit running the engine and take it to someone who knows what to do next. Not kidding.
No offense but the worst thing you can do to an engine, or any machine, that sounds mechanically ill is to continue to use/run it. edit: what gramicci said.

Yeah.... new to cars... that's all I need to know.
As others said don't try to turn it on, take it to a mechanic. My bet is you have a vacuum leak and a lose belt.

Might want to post this under the 'forced induction' section and link to it in the edelbrock owners' thread.
