So, here in the States... i went to Best Buy and they had a couple (of what i thought were double din) options... JVC, Kenwood etc.

The BB rep said the Kenwood is the best based on the Garmin Navi which is nice but it was like $800 US but he said they dont have the radio kit yet? is that the radio bracket? or the antenna kit everyone is talking about?

Also, if i upgrade the headunit will i lose the Aux/USB port capability??

i like the fact that I can plug in my 16GB flash drive for all my mp3's but i want the capability of DVD playback, Navigation and touch screen and just an overall cosmetically pleasing unit.

Happy with the replacement

If the HU has a rear USB port, the AUX/USB should plug into that.

Laurie,
Did you get the latest maps with the Garmin attachment ECU? Can you check the map setup for it?

I saw today that my 2010 Sonata Nav unit came with the 2010 Maps. It'd be great if the Garmin ECU can be had with the 2012-13 GCC maps. Perhaps upgraded if not?

No - had to do an update... but mine might have been older stock sitting in the store in Naif road. Upgrading and getting the thing to work with Garmin's security features is a royal pain in the butt.

Recommend you ask Yellowhat to ensure they get the unit from Kenwood with the latest maps.

I'm considering Focal speakers myself. Which ones you're looking at?
