I think you will get more applicable responses if you tell us your needs. For example, if you have passengers, how far your commute is, availability of EV charging, etc.

You ask a frs/brz forum without including your own personal opinions

Dude...if you want to sell one of the best sport cars we've seen in a decade to buy some glorified hybrid matrix be our guest. But honestly...what reaction did you expect?

Wouldn't you say that the CT200H is a more stylish and upscale version of a Prius?

Honestly, I like the CT... But if you were to exchange your BRZ for it, I'd say one would dearly miss the driving excitement a sports car provides.

Go for it if you feel the urge... It just comes down to what your life prefers at this stage.

The CT200H is nice if you're looking for a respectable nameplate, decent mileage, and a good commuter car.

I will say that the driving experience does not match the looks of the car (and it does look like a nice sporty hatch)

It's a really good looking hybrid and I don't even care for hatches. My mom had told me I should get one instead of the FR-S just so I could say I had a Lexus (since it's the cheapest Lexus, I think, though it was still way above my price range, FR-S was top range as is). If I wanted a hybrid, I'm pretty sure this would be my choice. Would I trade my FR-S in for it? Not a chance in the world.

I was actually going to buy an F-sport CT200h, but Lexus was taking forever coming out with the 2014 model, which gave me plenty of time to decide it wasn't the car for me (for now). Assuming the CT lasts longer than the HS did, I may still get one in the future, if I don't decide to get the Impreza Sport instead.

I've driven multiple iterations of the Lexus ES over the years, and the 2013 model has an extremely numb feeling to it, as though you're not even driving the car. I haven't test driven the CT to see if this is any different, but it's probably not much of an improvement since it is a hybrid. I guess that's what you get for the luxury. But it does have great qualities and is very practical and has a good price. I also like how the back seats fold completely down. I've not had any experience with Tesla to know if the driving experience is any better to have an opinion on that, though.

I have both a 2013 CT and a 2013 FRS. The CT shares a lot with the Prius but they are two very different cars. The CT handles suprisingly well for what it is. It is a pretty solid ride and you will feel the bumps in the road a lot more than a prius. I get 50+mpg consistanly in mine which is a the main reason for getting it. The 2014 or 2015 models has a little different body (but its all cosmetic) and the the generation 8 nav where mine has the gen 7 system. Other than that they are the same car. You really need to drive one to see if you like it. Not fast in a straight line but it not so slow that it is an issue for daily driving. It is a great car.

That all being said I would not give up my FRS/BRZ for one. The CT is great but it is not even close to as much fun to drive.

Well....I'm a realtor and I was in the same boat a few months back. Traded my 2013 FRS with 5k miles for my 2012 Prius. The Prius may not be sporty, sporty looking or hug the road like the FRS but it gets the job done (point A to point B) and puts a shit load of money in my pocket. $20 bucks for 300+ miles or $30 bucks for 500+ miles. This is the kind of car I wouldn't care if took in rock chips, dents, dings, etc.

BTW, I did take a look at the CT200H but ultimately decided to settle on a Prius and I couldn't be any happier. Not having a twin doesn't mean the world is going to end, priorities change and you learn to adjust to it.

Also, I believe the CT200H uses regular gasoline so you'll love paying that haha!
