^ I usually just take mine off before I go get it washed. The auto wash that I go to has attendants that will remove/reinstall them, but I don't trust them to not spin it against my bumper.
I bought my grimmspeed plate kit through another vendor who I was purchasing some other stuff through, but I just wanted to chime in and give the Grimmspeed products a good nod

Always remove any protrusions from your car before going into a car wash. They are quite good at ripping them off if they are able to grab it.

5/5 for me!
Ordered a Grimmspeed Hood Struts kit from Touge Tuning in Canada. Received, instructions were very clear thanks to the video they linked to. After installation, had an issue where the one of the struts seemed to be bad and the struts would not hold. Sent an email on saturday to Grimmspeed, next thing you know, I receive an email on monday, asking me for shipping address, to send me a replacement kit, free of charge. Insane service, no hassle. Loved every minute of the service. Will buy from in the future. That front sway bar looks awfully good right now...

installed their hood struts today... nice stuff. i also have their ebcs which works really well for a 3-port.
