That's the focus - all OEM functions. Updates at the end of the week, hopefully

I really need to stop reading these 2JZ swap threads. They always make me want to go and do something fiscally irresponsible lmao! Anyways, great build. Looks super stealthy.

Thanks! Can't wait until it's finished.

Only problem is my ProEFI bricked itself the other day so I need to wait until it gets back from being fixed.

What occurs when the ProEFI unit gets "bricked?"

After a firmware update, it locked everyone but ProEFI and it's three (I think) nationwide dealers out. Happened to a few others that I know of after their most recent update.

No photos yet but because of the stock intake manifold, the Seibon TS hood didn't clear. We ended up deciding on a new manifold and LS7 throttle body setup. Might run out there next week sometime depending on my work schedule.

We had a storm projected to hit the area pretty bad 2-3 weeks ago so that delayed everything. The ECU bricked also second time and it had to be sent out again, but it's shipping back and should be here in the next few days.

Halloween will mark a full year since the FA20 came out. I can't stand not having my car!

The ECU came back and the car is running better than ever. Unfortunately as the test drive was about to happen, the alternator connector was found melted since the car couldn't hold a charge. I had to order a new one (plus a spare).

Next update will hopefully be Tuesday, along with videos.

Just got back from a test drive. Should be returning with the car in a few days. One thing to note:

Chase Bays - The harness was wired incorrectly; with the combined heat from the manifold, it caused the harness to malfunction and melt. The alternator had to be rebuilt. If anyone is looking for a harness, I would highly suggest you DO NOT buy a Chase Bays harness.

I'll be uploading a video soon once I edit some of my giggling out.

New pics with the new hood:

Also, the car hasn't been washed since October 31st, 2014. Can't wait to wash it again haha.

This thing is nuts, I love the sleeper look you maintained. After a year I would be dying to have it back - what's left to be done before you get to take it home?
