Group ship from Japanparts?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in ordering parts together from japanparts.com. I am planning to get the STi springs, and the quote for shipping is $134. If anyone else wants to add to the order and split the shipping cost that'd save money for both of us.

Let me know.

Given the ridiculous delivery times (21-28 days) I don't want to wait for too long. But can hold off till the 15th if someone who wants to ship stuff together is getting paid then.

I ordered my tails with them. Didn't take as long as I thought. But if you were to try and warranty something. Good luck.

My springs came in 3 weeks, keep in mind you'll more than likely get a duty fee after shipment.

For a $500 order (springs and tips) it was only like $30. Which reminds me, I still need to pay it lol.

Yeah, the duty fees aren't too bad. Had to deal with those during my previous project.
@NemeGuero, PM me to figure out the details on what/when/how you want the combined order to go through.

Guys, it's likely that this group-ship idea is not the best.
The shipping quote generator on japanparts is stupid:

I want to order these springs: front and rear.

Someone else from the forum asked if he could join the group ship with the exhaust and tails.

I ran some quotes and saw:
springs alone = 134
legamax exhaust alone = 940
colin tails alone = 78

If shipped separately, everything would add up to: 1152
If combined into one order on the site: 1223 <- this makes no sense

Let's see just for the exhaust and tails:
exhaust + tails shipped separately: 940+78 = 1018
exhaust and tails shipped combined = 1065 <- makes no sense again

Shipping front springs separately ($98) from rears (another $98) doesn't save money though.

Wondering if I should email japanparts about this.
Another option is avojdm.com, but their prices for STi stuff are higher.

AVO doesn't have what I wanted. But I guess it doesn't matter anymore anyway unless you email JapanParts and they work out a deal for us to combine shipping.
