Slightly. Mostly in how the faces mate to the barrel. And the concave of the spokes change a bit as a result too

I had to look them up. Judging from Josh's pic, I'm going to say they're the Super Advan Version 2. I say that because it looks like they are exposed lug nuts and the spacing between the splits of the spokes, and the spokes themselves looks wide.

SA3R

Gen 2

Version ii

In hindsight I should've parked next to it for a better look, but oh well.

Guessing the owner isn't on here though since nobody has responded in the Spotted thread.

So I just realized that the road I was doing my data-logging on last night has a police training facility right off it...

Since the Yaris never came with a cabin filter from the factory...decided to get a Blitz hybrid AC filter for it since I liked what it did to the air quality in my FR-S.

Also got another Bazooka bass tube to put in the Yaris (the 100w one this time compared to the 50w one I put into the FR-S). I tested it in the FR-S since the wire harness was already in place, and I can hear and feel a difference between the two tubes. I got the 100w for the Yaris since there are no woofers in the Yaris, and only 4 speakers. Once I get a headunit, I plan on reducing the low end frequencies and just have all the bass come from the Bazooka. That way, the four speakers can just focus on producing mids and highs.

Hmm. Did your OEM FR-S AC filter cause the AC to have a weird scent to it?

I almost always notice some kind of scent when running the AC in my car. I've been trying to figure out if it's just because my car is still new.

It's not like a _bad_ smell per se, but maybe something like chemicals?

The FR-S had a regular disposable filter (not carbon-activated).

AC odors come from using the AC and turning off the car without venting out the car. You should always turn off the AC and fully blast the fan on fresh air setting for a few minutes prior to getting to your destination and turning off the car.
