No-start after clutch install

Hey guys, just got my car back together after installing my stage 2 clutch and I've been trying to get it to start to no avail ever since. Initially, i was getting zero power to the car and saw that I blew my main fuse on the battery terminal. Replaced that and now I'm only getting starter click, with no turn over at all. Batt has good voltage, tried several different batteries. Grounds are all connected correctly, starter is getting power and was removed and tested at a local auto parts store (3 times) and they said it was good. Fuses I checked were good too (inhibitor, c/open, starter, alt. starter), so cannot figure out what is going on. it is throwing a p2102 code which leads me to believe I'm not getting enough power to the intake manifold sensor, which would seem to be a ground fault but they've all been triple checked. Anyone have any input?

edit: buddy just came by and we tested power to the starter. it's getting full power until we try to start the car, then the power goes to zero.

My guess: you may have adjusted clutch pedal travel to your new clutch .. but have your also adjusted clutch press sensor? Don't know how it should work with normal-key cars, but on ones with smart start with button one needs to have clutch disengaged, and that sensor should do that. Maybe w/o adjusting car still thinks that clutch is not fully disengaged?

it goes through the start sequence fine, just doesn't turn over.

You need to rule out the clutch interlock relay as a source of your problem before moving to the next steps.

If it was the relay would he be throwing a code?

@chargedup ...you said you tried different batteries. Did you clean your terminals on your wires? Have you tried clearing the code then trying to start the car?

You're only getting a click- one hard click or many clicks? If it's one hard click, this sounds like a starter issue. Did the auto parts store also test your starter solenoid?

I will bet $1000 you missed the pin alignment on the flywheel. Same thing happened with my bud, checked eveything and removed clutch and the flywheel didnt line up to the pin, got that fixed and it started up. Done 3 clutches changes on these cars already.

This was my first thought when I read the thread title but if it were this, the car would turn over but not start. His car is not turning over.

I had this issue. I bet your crank sensor isn't aligned. Very easy to turn it just a hair, making it not work

Doesn't matter, it's very easy to use a multimeter and figure out if the switch is grounding or not when you push the clutch pedal all the way down.
