Fer sure fer sure. My second to last pickup truck was a 1956 Ford F-100 (like this one) with a 283 cu. in. Chevrolet V-8. Best of both worlds - a Ford tough body and a snappy Chevrolet V-8.

Yep, it was red with chromed reversed rims, just like this one. The only other mod was coiled overload springs. I drove it for over 10 years. What did I use it for? To haul stuff - that's what trucks were meant to be used for!

For those of you that think you have driven a pickup "truck", unless you have driven one of these, you haven't driven a REAL pickup TRUCK -

Current well known car brands that you would never buy

Thank you for the review,

I’m kind against tesla after they played dirty by firing nearly everyone in the dealer department & offer to rehire with lower wage in a month. Two ppl I know were caught in that shitstorm.

I have to honestly say, none! I mean, I have owned many brands over the years, AMC, Ford, GM, Triumph, Fiat, VW, Jeep, Renault, Chrysler, Mercedes Benz, Suzuki, Toyota, Scion, and a couple more that escape me right now. All served a purpose for the time in my life. I never bought something I couldn't afford, and none of them let me down. If I won the lottery, I would have a lot of fun trying out the more expensive ones. But to answer which marque I would never buy - I really can't think of one. All right, maybe Ford - the one I had was a Pinto....it kind of ruined me on that brand for quite a few years - but I'd be willing to try one now....that Mustang is pretty nice for what it's designed for, and they make a pretty mean truck.

As far as seating, I think the worst I've sat in are late model Hondas (at least the Accord, CRV and Pilot all of which extended family members own). The seats are terribly stiff, like you are sitting on a wood bench.

Although we still had a couple of those around never got to play with one. I did however drive the command/signals box van version several times. No synchros, gobs if torque but no speed and a center oh gravity about 6 feet in the air made for some interesting dune runs.

Oh, I know someone caught up in that shit. Tesla isn't some wonderful company, I know. However, their products have some advantages. Our powerwalls are great.

I think butt shape has a lot to do with comfort. I have a relatively large amount of ass for my size. Not Kardashian, though.

The Powerwalls are great ideas, I want one myself. The powerwalls on wheels, no thanks.

I've seen some recent articles like this one talking about Tesla is doing so much excessive logging (of no particular benefit to the consumer) to their early model flash roms that they are starting to burn them out and it is an $1,800 out of warranty repair. Ouch.
